Montreal-based vocalist Bohdanna Novak is a captivating and deeply passionate performer. Known for her intimate and natural style, Bohdanna is a well-rounded musician, equally proficient in many different genres. Her vocal range spans three octaves, and she possesses a sound that is undeniably warm, powerful and engaging.
Bohdanna’s versatility makes her a natural collaborator. She is honoured to have shared the stage with many esteemed artists including Renée Fleming, Kurt Elling, and Kevin Mahogany. She has also toured and recorded internationally with various groups, and has performed in many popular venues including Carnegie Hall.
As an arranger, Bohdanna loves putting unique twists on familiar favourites and introducing lesser-known gems. She presents every song by telling a story in an inventive yet accessible way, which has gained her widespread appreciation and praise.
