The Theory of Everything is a 2014 British biographical drama adapted from the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking, which deals with her relationship with her ex-husband, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, his diagnosis of motor neuron disease, and his success in physics. It is set in Cambridge – so it’s a ‘must -see’ for us locals!
The film stars Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones. The film won many awards, in particular for Redmayne’s amazing performance as Stephen Hawking;
Film Club members free. Non-members pay a £2.50 nightly membership fee at the door. Doors open at 8.00pm.
