Two times BBC Folk Award winners Russell & Algar are now one of the most sought after young acts on the English folk scene. They followed their 2013 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk award with this years Horizon award for best breakthrough act. Their second album The Call followed in July to rave reviews. The Telegraph described it as 'A fine album..... with genuine exuberance and excellent musicianship showing an increasing depth to their work'.
