Ben Bilello honed his unique method of brush instruction at while teaching at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. For seven years, Ben taught a weekly brush playing class to aspiring jazz drummers. His approach is straight forward and beneficial to drummers of all skill levels. Ben’s method stresses the mastery of fundamental techniques, producing a full and pleasant sound, and the smooth execution of brush patterns and their variations in a musical context.

Ben is on the Vic Firth educator roster and is happy to have their support for this event.
