besser als npr kann man die band eigentlich nicht zusammenfassen.
als heißer act aus new york aufgekeimt sind Moon Hooch schon lange nicht mehr als newcomer zu sehen. die 3 musiker blicken auf auftritte bei jools holland, renommierte jazz festivals wie moers oder auch love supreme festival zurück und sind für 2017 schon wieder voll ausgebucht.
mit „red sky“ erschien am 10.6.2016 ihr schon drittes album. diesem folgte nur ein paar monate später die „joshua tree“ ep, die die band zum freien download auf ihrer seite anbietet.
moon hooch sind einzigartig und eine unfassbare live-band, die im wahrsten sinne des wortes, alles wegbläst. dies werden sie auch am 9.6. im mojo jazz café wieder unter beweis stellen.
