Our final Winemaker’s Dinner for 2017 – Yarran Wines.
Yarran Wines is a family owned and operated winery. The vineyards, winery and cellar door are all located a short distance from Yenda, NSW. Yenda is part of the Riverina region, the area has a long tradition for winemaking dating back to 1913 and is well renowned for producing high quality wines.
Fruit has been grown on the family vineyard for 35 years, an interest to create wine from a viticultural background occurred in the late 90’s. The family business has since grown from producing a single Shiraz in 1998 to many different varietal table wines, rich fortified blends and also a classic Riverina Botrytis sweet wine style (Noble rot).
