Our literary arts workshop celebrates literary works of the contemporary South Asian community in Toronto and around the world. With book-readings and activities, as well as a book-launch, we hope overall you will be inspired how to maximize your own diversity to achieve success in Arts.

Films are not reality; but since we are far away from our places of origin, we let films
– especially Bollywood - influence our reality? Some of our senior writers from the
Progressive Writer's Association explore this aspect of our culture. With a panel of discussions of authors and writers alike, topics will include the influence of South Asian media, and Bollywood on non-resident Indians.

We are honoured to have Harjeet Dhillon join us for a book launch of Autumn Love.
In a most compelling and engaging read, Dhillon invites us into the world of a young woman whose modern sensibilities and profession overlap with her traditional Indian heritage.
Please note: This is a “walk-in” event (no ticket needed) with free refreshments served.
Event Location: Gerrard Ashdale Library, 1432 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON M4L 1Z6
