"Wasted" solo exhibition by Gabriel Castellanos

Gabriel was born in 1980 and raised in the Bay Area. He has shown work throughout California over the last 9 years, this being his first solo exhibition. Not much for words, he uses art to describe his thoughts about being alive and human with a juxtaposition of bright colors, symbols of death, isolation, a bit of mayhem, fracturing, and secret love. To him, to sensationalize our existence is to undermine our true reality in a way that allows us to no longer fear being alive.
