Carolina Wray:
The Wray Brothers are ready to be re introduced with a fresh, energetic and finely crafted sound that is truly their own. Combining old school influences with modern sensibility, not to mention a pure love of the American South, Carolina Wray attemps to blur the lines between indie and mainstream music even further through honest, believable lyrics and authentic, catchy melodies.
Jantzen, while predominantly playing banjo, also makes other appearances on a number of instruments including harmonica and acoustic guitar. While Jantzen takes the helm as frontman, Dillon mainly handles the acoustic and electric guitars and adds his higher range to complete the dynamic vocal mix that is Carolina Wray.

Bird in Hand:
Folk husband and wife duo, Bryan and Megan Thurman, have been around music for a long time. Though their tastes are very similar, the paths which led them to make music together differ. "I've always been a bass man," said Bryan, "and I've played in bands for the better part of my life. I've been involved in musical projects ranging from punk to southern metal, even hip-hop, and I've finally found myself in love with the honesty of folk and the story-telling element of old-time music." For Bryan, his place in most bands have been of backbone and rhythm, never a front man. "Being the key song writer for this band has been a great outlet for expressing many of the inspirations and experiences that make up not only me, but Megan's story as well." This year, the young couple will have been together for a decade. Megan Thurman, a strong lover of music herself, has always been one content to watch the show from the crowd or from behind many a merch table. "I've always supported Bryan in every band he was in. And I'm kind of shy, I never really thought of hitting the stage myself." However it was a three month honeymoon trip across the country in their '78 Volkswagen Westie that inspired new songs and a greater partnership in music. "A lot of times we were really just stuck on the side of the road and Bryan would grab the guitar and we'd just sing."
The songs Bird in Hand write are about us all; about love, loss and life on the road. They speak of the way we feel and hopefully sometimes a greater example of how we all should live. Maybe a little simpler, a little more joyous and a lot more musical. Bryan, armed with his guitar, light-hearted stage banter and unique vocal style and Megan, armed with a mandolin and some would say, classic Nashville sound, bring pretty harmonies and fast-paced rhythms, and a message to each person they meet.

The Paper Crowns:
The Paper Crowns make two piece acoustic music sound huge! They are stomping on drums while they are plucking strings and singing harmonies often all at the same time! There's nobody doing it like The Paper Crowns are doing it. It's hard to find a truly unique band...on top of that it's hard to find a band that delivers the emotional spectrum from sweet and heartbreaking earnest ballads to barn burning gypsy raving conga frenzied sweaty dance tunes. The Paper Crowns will bring you all that and then some! The Paper Crowns are solid players on their instruments....see this amazing band live! They pride their sets on improvisation mixed with fine compositions and great lyrics. Most of all, The Paper Crowns want you to feel good and feel recharged when you listen to their music....it's full of heart and soul and all of the good old spirit that's still roaming the land!
