Happy to just fiddle away while chaos reigns, While Rome Burns is an eclectic duo with a range of musical styles including Appalachian, Celtic, New England, Quebecois, Metis, Galacian, and swing. Paul Gitlitz’s fiddle compositions and Wyndham Thiessen’s sometimes tender, sometimes humorous songs are played on any number of instruments – fiddle, cello, mandolin, guitar, dobro, and banjo. Bluegrass duo Rugged Little Thing opens the night.
