Join Tattersall's Racing Club for the first race day of the 2016 calendar. Held at Doomben Racecourse on Saturday 27 February, the day promises to be a fun-filled day of racing, fashion and live entertainment.

The day will feature the listed Tattersall’s Members’ Cup Quality Handicap, as the pinnacle race, with $100,000 in prize money to be won. Another seven fantastic races will be run throughout the day, ensuring plenty of opportunities for experienced and rookie punters alike to place a bet and dabble in the excitement of racing.

Honey Remixed will bring their new era of live music to Tattersall’s Race Day. Featuring cutting-edge production, mixing, a new-wave DJ, live instrumentation and astonishing powerhouse vocals, Honey Remixed will keep the festivities going right into the afternoon. Make sure you bring your dancing shoes.

The popular Carlton Mid Meeting Place returns front and centre of the action on the public lawn. With seating, umbrellas to escape the heat and its own bar right on the track, it provides the perfect space for you and your friends to settle in for the day and enjoy the festivities. Secure your spot early so you do not miss out.

For those that prefer something more intimate, with catering and beverage packages there are a number of group packages and corporate suites on offer. Starting from $65 per person for a corporate suite plus food and beverage and $85 for a group package in the Champions Courtyard or Grove Marquee with a cocktail menu and beverage options, the Tattersall’s Race Day packages provide the perfect backdrop for a private or corporate event.

Gates open at 10.30am. General admission tickets can be bought at the gate. Adults are $15 and children and pensioners free.
