Born and raised in San Francisco, Mikos has been rapping and making beats since high school, mastering the art of chopped and screwed production at an early range. His tracks range from melodic, jazzy grooves to bump and grind club bangers that don’t sacrifice any artistic integrity. Growing up with the likes of Mr. Carmack and the Whooligan, Mikos is part of a growing movement of west coast, old school-inspired hip hop championed by Soulection crew, and his releases have been an integral part of their white label series. His latest albums, Caffeine and Monogamy, both released within six months of each other, are a testament to his ability to create music that fits just about any setting.
