Known for breeding some of the worlds most intriguing yet electrifying dance music artists on the planet, Melbourne has once again endured the bangin’ entrance of an electro house and bounce candidate. Initiating the electronic scene like a true player, Trifo hits the booth with a vengeance, and the studio with claws.
For this bright icon, music lingered in his veins from the youngest age when the school books were out yet the headphones were on. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, the Trifo name has taken musical splendour into its own hands and moulded it very well. As owner of his own label in Majesty Music, the sounds are on full volume breaking down the barriers with full force. Offshore status beams high, signed to Laidback Luke’s Mixmash imprint and young guns celebrator Ones to Watch, together with Peakhour and Safari Music.
On collab duties with Alean & Skyy, ‘Nuke’ took a hot spot on Ones To Watch expanding its horizons, entering the Buzz Chart at #3, while gaining glowing support from David Guetta, Blasterjaxx, D.O.D and Laidback Luke on Mixmash Radio. Peaking with the remix front, Trifo’s remix of ‘Dreams’ for Mobin Master featuring Polina, charted across ARIA, pleasantly boasting the 29th rung.
Playing on bills shared with Avicii, Hardwell, Steve Aoki and his musical inspiration Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the Trifo brand has shone a spark on the Australian dance scene lighting up the main stage at Goodlife Festival, Future Music Festival, Summadayze, Supafest and Dayglow’s Life In Color success story. With a known ability to relinquish the genre holes and boasting a solid enforcement on spinning his own edits on the plenty, Trifo holds the electronic title with great force.
Warming up the release dates, 2014 is set to fire with a strong alliance in the label world, dropping collaborations with Reece Low, Manuel Galey and Josh T to begin with. It’s with great pleasure that we bring you the profile that has the accelerator on, and the hype on high.
