Calling all Passing Clouds lovers!

This Wednesday 6th December!
6pm at Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, E8 1EA

Please come show your support for Passing Clouds as the final battle to protect our building against development by Landhold Developments begins!!!!!

Hackney Council recently received hundreds of heartfelt objections from the community against Landhold Development's planning application on the Passing Clouds building which inevitably a move towards turning into flats.

Whilst the planning officer is presently recommending the technical approval of the application to the planning committee, we will be asking the council to defer the application whilst there is a period of public negotiation between Passing Clouds and the developers over the lease or sale of the building so that this process can be publicly observed.

The planning committee is concerned with the community benefit and should help to uphold the principals of the Asset of Community Benefit which was awarded on Passing Clouds last year.

However, we need to demonstrate the support of the community in this process.

Therefore we need as many of the community as possible to join us this Wednesday to show support for our plea.

Please join us at 6pm at Hackney Town Hall Mare Street, E8 1EA feel free to bring banners, instruments - anything to make an impact!
