Are you looking for a way to put your knowledge to practice but feel like you need more skills to do so? Do you feel like helping people but find it hard to find the words? Are you interested in mental health but find it hard to expand your knowledge in the psychology program? Lucky for you, the MPSA is hosting a Mental Health First Aid workshop in association with the McGill counselling services and the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
What is it? It is a training program that provides skills and knowledge to better manage potential or developing mental health issues. The workshop aims to help you help people around you!
When will it be? The workshop is on the weekend of March 24th and 25th from 9am to 4:30pm, coffee, tea and snacks provided, but we advise you to bring your own lunch.
How much is it? The cost is of 40.55$ covering a manual, a certificate, taxes and the trainor, an amazing deal (regularly about 100$ out of an educational facility)!!!
What do I need? Nothing! Although this training is reserved for psychology students.
