Jokes Please! is an award-winning weekly stand-up comedy show. This week’s loose theme is: Raccoons!
If ‘you are what you eat’ is true, then Raccoons are garbage. BUT! Then I would be day-old delicious lasagna and that is NOT WHAT I AM STOP CALLING ME THAT. Oh no, now I know how a raccoon feels when it’s called a Trash Panda...
Poor raccoons, a lot of animals eat garbage but don’t get heat for it. Eagles and bears have somehow stayed majestic despite their secret dump indulgences. And humans eat SO MUCH garbage. And we pay for it! Embarrassing. At least raccoons go on little nature adventures for their trash instead of that shameful 11:40 pm lonely snack drive to the Shoppers that SOME humans do. I think if you want to eat garbage late at night, be like a raccoon: EARN IT! Steal those chips from a neighbour. I bet Doritos will never taste so good.
