SIR JEMI was born in Montreal, Canada and grew up taking part in dance classes.

Having an instant connection with tempos and movements since his childhood, SIR JEMI started taking a big interest in electronic music at a young age and soon after got involved in the Montreal club scene. From there, he decided to take his love for electronic music and dance to the next level by djing.

Over the next few years in the industry he crafted his unique identity as a DJ with creativity and distinction. He works tirelessly to bring his followers the best, chicest and most exclusive dance records, sounds and flavours from around the world. Through his thoughtful and apt musical selection and thanks to his impressive repertoire of Afro, Funk, Soul, Deep, Techno, House and Electro music, he leaves his audience transcended and always wanting more. His dedication and passion to deliver this satisfaction means he is not pigeon-holed into a single genre. He constantly seeks to reinvent himself each time he mixes while keeping his true musical color.

SIR JEMI is at the forefront of what is relevant and is not afraid to push the boundaries to create an unforgettable experience. When he plays, he depicts dance through his sounds. Being a professional dancer with several years experience in classical, contemporary, jazz and hip-hop, he is able to transition between rhythms to ensure his audience is flawlessly able to express themselves and have fun.

His professional experience enables him to control different aspects of his field. As he says, his music does not expose pre-established truths, it embodies truths! Featured in the nightlife in a number of cities and festivals, Sir Jemi has worked with several production teams including: House of SAS (Ottawa), Give me a beats (Miami) and LoveNations (Mtl).

Sir Jemi has played in diverse venues such as: Club Peopl, STEREO, Salon Daomé, Terrasses Bonsecours, Unity in Montreal. Mercury Lounge, Flamingo, GlowFair, House of SAS present, DNA present in Ottawa. WorldStage for Toronto pride.
And has shared the stage with Chus + Ceballos, Honey Dijon, Tom Stephan, Victor Calderone, Jojoflores, Tedd Patterson, Hex Hector, Ultra Nate,, Dj Theresa, and many more.
