Party: ENGAGE: a Body-Mind Centering® workshop for the organs

Body-Mind Centering® is an integrated and embodied approach to movement, the body and consciousness. Body-Mind Centering® utilizes experiential study through application of anatomical, physiological, and developmental principles in hands on practice, movement, and sound explorations. In this workshop we will investigate the anatomy and embryological origins of our organs including the lungs, heart and digestive system. This workshops is open to anyone who is curious about their body and how it moves including performers of all disciplines, choreographers, bodyworkers, athletes, people with injuries, and yogis.

Olive and Otto are certified teachers of Body-Mind Centering®. They have been teaching Body-Mind Centering®, dance, and improvisation internationally for almost twenty years in contexts such as Impulstanz, Vienna, Movement Research, NYC, Ponderosa, Germany, Axis Dance Company, California, Lyon Opera Ballet, Lyon, and for BMC certification trainings for Moveus, Germany and Kinesthetic Learning Center, North Carolina.
