Party: Bd010 - Body Fundraiser - Meningitis Research Foundation

Huge thanks to Laurine of Berlin's Slow Life for delivering a pretty incredible set and to all for coming down and creating a special atmosphere for our first night in Glasgow. After the success of this party, we have another night lined up down in the basement of Stereo Cafe Bar.

For our next night it will be a residents and friends affair, with all the money we take from the door going towards the Meningitis Research Foundation - a charity that means a lot to many members of the body family. In March 2014, we lost a great friend and very special person, Jenny Singh. Jenny was known and loved by so many in Glasgow and Edinburgh, bringing smiles to everyone she met. The Meningitis Research Foundation do valuable work in fighting the disease, through research and raising awareness, and we will be taking donations on the door (£4 suggested).

For the event we have invited our very good friend Phil Kearney over from Berlin. Phil is a resident for the Edinburgh and London party brand Bixon, a clubnight that has an impressive roster of previous guests over the years, including Prosumer and Audio Werner. Since moving to Berlin, Phil has been treating clubbers with his tight mixing style in clubs such as Club Der Visionaere and Chalet. We had Phil as a guest in Edinburgh in August 2015, providing a superb soundtrack in what was one of our favourite nights yet. He will be joined on the night by body residents Adam Searle and Jack Stanley.
