Back in February, SU Sports Development Manager Dom and his team coordinated the entries, transport and accommodation for a bus load of Blades to go to BUCS Nationals in Sheffield.
We thought we were working hard but over the course of that weekend, Dom singlehandedly covered a larger distance than our squad of 17 athletes collectively over three days of competition!
Dom has been incredibly supportive of the Athletics Club, please join us to cheer him on in the 50km Racewalk from the SU bar, midday on Friday 19th August.
Everyone who can't run 5km faster than Dom can walk it really should attend... And that's almost everyone!
