THE WILD!

Former bandmates of the successful independent act, Bucknife, Dylan Villain (guitar/vocals), Lucas "Boozus" Jancikic (bass/vocals) and Rowdy "Rick" Riegs (drums) amalgamated to create a sound that is properly described as “The bastard son of AC/DC and ZZ Top”.

Hailing from Kelowna, British Columbia, The Wild! are living anything but the cliché faux-California lifestyle the Okanagan is known for. Instead, they are ripe with grit, Southern-fried twang and a give-‘em-hell attitude that has struck a chord with listeners everywhere. Blending a bold mixture of supercharged rock and roll, blues and equipped punkrock attitude, The Wild! is recognized as being a reckless group of individuals who write music for reckless groups of individuals. “We aim to write music that makes people feel something” says frontman, Dylan Villain. “Whether it’s to dance, yell, fight or just get straight up fuckin' crazy, we’re writing this music with strong conviction for what we stand for; having a good time in the name of the party and in the name Rock and Roll.” Further to the point, The Wild! is quick to admit that they draw their influence from their troubled pasts, the road, and good old fashioned parties. Backed by the gratuitous citing by Raw Dog (The Jason Ellis Show) that legitimately labels The Wild! as “Shitkicker Rock”, the band embodies the unpolished backwoods with a sincerity to produce a musical experience that is nothing short of fucking brilliant.

2012 proved to be an eventful year for The Wild! with their first single, Road House, released. Road House was then featured on The Jason Ellis Show on FACTION (Sirius/XM) and is in current rotation in the UK (Steve Taylor’s show ‘Retro Rock’ on 102.5FM – Stourbridge), Canada (Power 104.7FM – Kelowna) and on various online stations such as Punkradiocast.ca and Hotshotbands.com. After teaming up with Vancouver hip-hop music video director, Stuey Kubrick, the Road House music video received more than 10,000 views in its first week and an additional 20,000 views within the first month. Backing the vision, sound and attitude of The Wild! Adrian Grenier, star of Entourage and owner of Wreckroom Records in NYC, posted a link to the Road House video on his Twitter feed.

Maintaining the momentum of the past year, The Wild! is currently working on their EP, Wild at Heart, slated for an early 2013 release. Following up Road House, Party ‘til You’re Dead is expected to be the next single to go viral. The Wild! hasn’t only garnered a reputation for their vocals, but also their stage presence and with plans for a spring tour in the works, The Wild! delivers fans straight-up good-time parties celebrating a no-bullshit approach to music and entertainment.

FRANKIE MCQUEEN
http://www.frankiemcqueenmusic.com
Frankie McQueen is a Calgary based power blues trio. Taking the “balls out” approach when it comes to their live show, Frankie McQueen likes to leave the stage and their audience whisky and beer soaked. Encompassing the attitude of Seattle grunge and the swagger of ZZ-Top, these guys are not afraid to take risks and are more likely to have a beer with a fan than sign an autograph. The stage is where this trio feels most at home and their onstage chemistry shows true brotherhood.
Formed in 2007 by vocalist Scotty Charles and drummer Connor Muth, this bluesy three piece has worked hard to get their music across the country. The addition of bassist Corey Adams was a huge stepping stone in creating the sound that they now posses. It was the catalyst to turn this rock group into a band of brothers playing groove based rock n’ roll with soulful melodies, tight drums, and groovy bass lines with the odd screaming solo peppered in.
Since the release of their self titled EP in the spring of 2012 Frankie McQueen has had the opportunity to open for the likes of Sam Roberts Band, Flash Lightnin’, Bedouin Soundclash, and Daniel Wesley (to name a few) and have also teamed up with Art Szabo of Sfear Management. Having the philosophy that they have to get out and cut their teeth on the road, FMQ is not afraid to work day and night.
Recently in June 2014, the band released their second EP “Nightride”, recorded and produced by Kirill Telichev. They will spend the next year touring throughout Canada including shows from Vancouver all the way to Toronto.

THE ELECTRIC REVIVAL
Formed in late 2009, The Electric Revival, consisting of three longtime friends, hit the ground running with the release of guitarist Ian Dillon’s independent E.P. With the inclusion of longtime friends Dallas Lobb on drums, and Dan Toews on bass, the group began playing local Calgary gigs until enough material had been created to release the full length album Presenting: The Electric Revival in 2012. Due to demand, the group kept fans entertained by releasing a new single every week for 13 weeks in the summer of 2012. Following this ambitious undertaking, The Electric Revival released its second full length album Pirate Radio in the summer of 2013 and then a follow up E.P. 5 Songs by the Electric Revival later that same year. As a result of these albums, The Electric Revival was picked up by Cruzer Media to aid in the distribution of the band’s current catalog.
With the bands ability to create and perform material that appeals to a wide audience, Ian Dillon’s ingenuity of his theremin guitar solos, and musical experience of the members, The Electric Revival has seen an increase in its fan base. The group’s first North American tour was well received in 2013, which only fueled the band’s desire to consistently provide listeners with quality material and an unforgettable performance.

MIESHA AND THE SPANKS
Calgary's Miesha & The Spanks are purveyors of the most rough 'n tumble, energy driven garage-rock possible. Sassy vocals, dirty riffs, pounding drums- this two piece is overpowering and infectious. Charming hearts and kicking ass four years and counting.
