Powerfully spouting a colourful blend of reggae, rumba and gypsy swing with spicy latin roots and a shiny African soul their live performances are a genuine ray of sunshine- instantly transporting your thoughts to a brighter place with feel good vibrations and catchy melodies the Scallywags are sure to keep you dancing.

If you’ve been to any festival over the past three years, chances are you’ll have at least heard talk of The Scallywag’s legendary live sets- yes, they have previously performed in little more than their birthday suits. They contrast high energy, upbeat skank-your-socks-off solos with the chilled, relaxed vibe that is at the very heart of reggae music. The spirit of the festival is the essence of this band- bringing a range of people together to dance and to enjoy the moments they bring in their purest form.

Beverage Collective

Beverage Collective are a jazz-funk-fusion collective comprised of professional musicians from London, Bristol and Reading. The band give their own unique twist to jazz & funk numbers by the likes of Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller and George Benson. Since forming in 2013 the band have supported Craig Charles and played at several major UK festivals.

Members of Beverage Collective have performed throughout Europe and the USA with a variety of artists, bands, big bands and orchestras. Band members have played headline shows at top jazz venues including the Camden Jazz Café, the Vortex Jazz Club and the 606 Club, major venues including Shepherd's Bush Empire and Manchester Academy, major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic, Secret Garden Party and Boomtown Fair, and jazz festivals including the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Brecon Jazz Festival and the Windsor Jazz Festival. Bands in which members of the Collective have played have received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show on BBC Radio 6. Members of Beverage have performed with NEA Jazz Master David Liebman and artists such as Boney M and Nick Hayward, have supported top jazz artists such the James Taylor Quartet, Portico Quartet and Jazz Jamaica, and major artists such as Ash and London Grammar. The big bands in which members of Beverage have played include the Pendulum Jazz Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic Funk Orchestra and Harvard University's Dudley Jazz Orchestra.
