I'm Steve Folk, I live on a canal boat with my wife and cat, traveling is a huge inspiration to me, a great deal of my songs are about places that I have visited around the world. I have toured Spain and Italy (twice) and I will be touring Holland in October, I intend to play all over Europe in the future, in the UK I run and host 2 monthly nights of music, I also play gigs in London and the rest of the UK but you may find my pitching up on the street somewhere, peddling my CDs and making friends.

I consider myself as a "folk survivalist", I'm certain I will never be rich and I know that the music industry will more than likely frustrate me until the day I die BUT I know I am doing exactly what I want to do in my life and that's the thing, for me, at least.

I have 3 albums out and I am currently writing a 4th, in the past I have supported some major folk artists including Seth Lakeman and Show of Hands, I have had lots of radio play on the BBC and other stations and I have played many folk festivals.
