Global music specialist Poirier was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Releasing music for Mixpak, Man Recordings, Ninja Tune, he has recorded seven albums as Poirier and two as Boundary. He remixed the likes of Gotan Project, Salif Keïta, Busy Signal, Popcaan and Schlachthofbronx. From tropical riddims to urban electro, the DJ/producer is well-versed into dancehall, soca and afropop to just name a few genres of his large palette. His new album is due by the end of 2015 on the UK label Nice Up! Records. The first single "Why feat. Face-T" is already released.
