Dancing club Tea Dance Team is founded on January 16th of the year of 2002. in Belgrade under the name of “BETTY BOOP”, and that is the name under which it is registrated in the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Serbia. It is member of the Serbian Association of Dancing Organizations – SAPO (JAPO), and also of the Association of Balley Artists of Serbia – UBUS. The club practices sports dance, jazz dance, cheerleading and show dance and has got over 90 members from 6 to 30 years old.
The founders of the dancing club Betty Boop were Raznatović Andrijana and Brnčić Tea. After one year, Tea continues to run the club all by herself. During very short time, we have managed to participate in many manifastations such as „Hair Fair, Rollerijada“, „The Oscar of Popularity“, the spettacle „Moulen roudge“ in Zvezdara Theater, shows of Manda on the television PINK, Festival of Budva, Vrnjačka banja, Zrenjanin, Ohrid, „Beovision“, „Kids fashion week“, „Belgrade’s winner“, „Big brother“, European championship in handball and basketball and many other manifastations...
...we are the first that managed to do cheerleading in american foodball in Serbia, we are winners of many cups and golden medals on state and international contests...
Our accent is primarily on hard work, consistance and CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT of our couchers (assistents), and also dancers, but also on the interpersonal relationships and team work. We have classes on many locations, where our couchers (assistents) work. They go through many couching and seminars, so that they could pass their knowledge on the members of our team the best they can.
June 27th of the year of 2002 the club has changed its name into TEA DANCING TEAM.
The goal of our club is returning children and youngsters from the bad influences of the society and the envoirment and make them devote themselves to sport and through the world of dancing show them how to observe the life from the more beautifull side.
